BE ACTIVE IN EUROPE
Thanks to the support of the European Parliament, Fundación Comunidad Valenciana-Región Europea (FCVRE) has created a new web portal on European citizenship: “Be active in Europe”. The European Parliament was convinced by the challenging concept of this project by its innovative character. The aim of this website is to foster an active European citizenship and to offer information on the European Institutions, the rights of EU citizens and the opportunities that this offers. The Directorate-General for Information of the European Parliament finances 75% of the project costs.
“Be active in Europe” wants to promote the active participation of the EU citizens, particularly among young people. The ultimate aim is to group in just one web portal all the different tools that the European Union offers to its citizens. Moreover, “Be active in Europe” offers news of interest, as well as forums and other interactive tools.
